Introducing your 2022-2023 URSU President, Navjot Kaur!
Greetings to all. My name is Navjot Kaur (she/her), President of URSU (University of Regina Students’ Union). This is my second year at UofR. To begin, I am honoured that students chose me as your student representative and I am very honoured to serve you this year in the Union, the community and to represent you on the Board of Governors and other University bodies. We are planning a number of positive achievements and fun surprises for all the students of UofR. I will try my best to make your experience at UofR more and more memorable and the best way to do it is with your contribution. As most of us are attending our classes on campus now, I would like to hear from you all for suggestions, questions and/or any kind of issue of your student life.
Three issues I’d like to take on this year, in addition to those already on the table for URSU, are supporting graduate students more, creating more events and campus life efforts to give students more opportunities to connect and build relationships, and support efforts for student parents and childcare spaces on campus.
I warmly wish every student a great and successful year ahead. Together, and united, we can achieve great things for all students, present and future, and build upon our successes.
