Food for all
It is currently estimated that 39% of university students experience some level of food insecurity. The URSU Cares Pantry started in 2016 as a small initiative. Now, it has grown to provide free food and toiletries to more than 140 students facing food insecurity within our campus community.
All current students are welcome to attend the pantry. Please use the “Register for Free” button to access the current registration form.
We would like to thank our sponsors and donors the Regina Foodbank, Save on Foods, SGI, and the Lazy Owl for their continued support.
If you or your organization are interested in making a donation, please email our Food Security Coordinator at food@ursu.ca.

After picking up your free groceries it can sometimes be hard to decide what to cook with them, this is why we started a new online cookbook for you.
The URSU Cares Cookbook is designed to be a “one-stop shop” for practical nutrition information, resources, and recipes. Using this book gives students the tools to eat well on a budget with only basic cooking skills and minimal kitchen equipment.
