The University of Regina Students’ Union (URSU) regrets to inform its membership of the resignation of Nifemi Adekoya from the position of Vice-President External Affairs, effective immediately. Due to personal circumstances that she was unable to resolve, Nifemi’s eligibility for the position was no longer valid. Nifemi expresses her apologies for not foreseeing the circumstances that have brought about her resignation. URSU Vice-President Operations and Finance Gurkirat Singh will assume the duties of the VP External Affairs in accordance with URSU’s constitution.
URSU wishes Nifemi the best in the future and thanks her for her service to the organization and its members, the students of the University of Regina and its Federated Colleges.
