Please note that RPIRG is a student centre separate from URSU but their elections take place at the same time on the same ballot.
Candidates interested in running for election are encouraged to stop by the URSU Offices to speak with Executives or Staff to gain a better appreciation of roles, responsibilities and expectations. The Candidate Information Session will take place on February 7th, 12pm to 1pm in the URSU Boardroom.
Nomination packages will be available at the URSU Member Services Desk beginning on February 7th. Forms must be submitted by February 28th @ 4:00 pm.
Campaigning will take place from March 2-15 and voting days are March 16 &17.
Candidates are eligible to get a portion of their expenses reimbursed, after the elections are over.
If elected you can be a driving force behind URSU’s mission to “provide students high quality supports, services, opportunities, and advocacy, to ensure that all students have a fun, safe and healthy University experience.” Use your passion and perspective to enhance the university experience of others at the U of R by getting involved in the URSU General Election 2020!
