URSU Thrifts

URSU has always prided itself on adapting and expanding the ways we support students and help our campus community. This also applies to URSU Thrifts (formerly URSU Threads) which has grown from accepting only business attire to include donated items like cookware, notepads, and books, offering students the chance to save money and save consumer goods from going to waste. This thrifty option is one of the many ways we help our members make the most of their budget as they can buy less and still have nice things and necessary things.

You can find gently used clothing and other useful items at the URSU Cares Pantry dates (see pantry webpage) but we also have occasional ‘pop-up shops’ so you can find free stuff more easily and take in the superb selection!

All items are free and this program is open to all campus members and there is no need to register to browse our selection. Expect to find professional and casual clothing, outdoor wear, accessories, blankets, kitchen gear, shoes, books, and other home goods.

Got a closet bursting with beautiful clothes you never wear? Can’t figure out what to do with that cookware that’s squeaky clean because you never use it? Just got gifted a new coat and mitts and don’t need the old ones? Bring them to the bin in the Riddell Centre under the south staircase or head to our offices on the second floor at RC 221.
