City of Regina Monthly Transit Passes

The Students' Union is the U of R's on-location Transit Agent. We provide students with a convenient way to purchase bus tickets and monthly passes. in addition, we also provide free maps and timetables, as well as up-to-date news regarding Transit services. Our staff is also available to help you out if you're unfamiliar with using public transit services.

What should I buy?

If you're new to Regina Transit, you're probably unfamiliar with how things work.

If you plan on using the bus on a fairly regular basis, such as every day, then we reccomend you purchase a Monthly Bus Pass. U of R Students are eligible for the post-secondary rate. A monthly pass gives you unlimited rides for the calendar month printed on the pass. For example, if the pass is for September, then it is valid from September 1st until September 30th. New bus passes become available around the 20th of each month.

If you don't plan to be a frequent user of Regina Transit buses, or if you forgot to buy your monthly pass and it's already mid-month, then we recommend buying a sheet of bus tickets. Each sheet has 10 tickets that is good for 1 ride (and a transfer request). A sheet is always cheaper than paying full cash fare, and tickets never expire. If you need to change busses, please ask for a transfer when you board the bus.
