What is carpooling?
Carpooling is a transportation alternative that students at the U of R are embracing to save money and save the environment. Pick up a friend on the way to school and get a better parking spot. Preferred parking is available for those who carpool and arrive on campus between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday.

What if I need a ride outside of city limits?
The Regina Green Ride Board is available here.
Regina Green Ride (RGR) is an initiative of the Regina Public Interest Research Group, based out of the University of Regina. RGR exists to facilitate the increased usage of carpooling in Regina. Through their Facebook page you are able to post rides out of town or see others who have posted rides out of town. They will also keep you up to date on the latest transportation information.
You can also offer or request a rideshare on the URSU Classifieds board.
What is Car Sharing? Can I do it at the U of R?
Car Sharing is a model of car rental where people rent cars for short periods of time, often by the hour. It makes occasional use of a vehicle affordable, even for those of us on a budget, while providing an incentive to minimize driving and rely on alternative travel options as much as possible.
Regina Car Share Co-operative is an option in Regina. For more info visit reginacarshare.ca.
What if I want to ride a bike?
The University has many bike racks available on campus. You can also pay $5/month to use an indoor bike cage located in the Centre for Kinesiology and Health Studies parkade.
If you don’t have a bike, you can rent one by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by stopping at the Parking & Transporation Services office.
